What is The Breadboard Company?
The BreadBoard Company helps children learn electronics and engineering in a fun, beginner-friendly way. Rather than making circuits feel confusing or intimidating, the company transforms the learning process into a creative, hands-on experience that is easy to follow.
What sets The BreadBoard Company apart is its playful design and simple teaching approach. The company's signature breadboard is shaped like a slice of bread, making electronics feel less intimidating and more exciting for young learners. Each project is designed to help children build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop an interest in STEM.
For parents, this means their children are doing more than simply playing with electronic components. They are learning real engineering concepts in a way that is engaging, approachable, and rewarding. The BreadBoard Company's mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators by showing children that they are capable of building technology themselves.
What Will Campers Learn?
During camp, students will learn how to use a breadboard and basic electronic components to build real engineering projects. By following simple, step-by-step instructions, they will create hands-on circuits while gaining confidence in electronics, engineering, and problem-solving.
Who is Teaching?
Joseph Rusk is an Auburn University student and founder of The Breadboard Company.

Who is the RFID Lab?
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is a research center focused on the development and application of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and other sensor technologies. The Lab works with leading companies across multiple industries to help implement innovative technology solutions, advance research, and educate the next generation of technology leaders.
What Will Campers Learn?
Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, campers will explore the basics of RFID technology, including:
  • How RFID tags use radio waves to send information
  • The different components of an RF system including: tags, readers, and databases
  • Real-world applications of RFID technology and how companies use it to track products and improve operations
Campers will gain a better understanding of how technology is used behind the scenes to power many of the products and services they encounter every day.

What is Build Your Dreaming Things?
Build Your Dreaming Things helps children explore big ideas, future careers, and their own creativity through hands-on imagination experiences.
Rather than asking children to simply pick a fixed, flat destination for what they want to be when they grow up, we help them step into a universe of possibility. A child’s mind doesn’t think in straight lines or rigid boxes—it bends, connects, and imagines in three dimensions. Through playful activities, real-world career themes, and creative prompts, we encourage children to see their naturally expansive imagination as something worth building, testing, and sharing.
The goal is simple: help children recognize that their fluid curiosity, bold ideas, and unique way of seeing the world are the exact tools needed to build our future.
What Will Campers Learn?
During this aviation-themed experience, campers will explore the multi-dimensional roles and capabilities that help the aviation world take flight.
Aviation is the ultimate proof that the shortest distance between two points isn't always a straight flat line—it requires navigating a curved, moving world. Campers will learn that taking flight requires an interconnected ecosystem: aircraft mechanics, aerospace engineers, flight crews, air traffic controllers, drone operators, safety teams, quality engineers, and designers.
Through hands-on creative builds, campers will discover how to navigate these roles using their own aviation Cape-Abilities, such as:
• Spherical Problem-Solving: Looking at a challenge from every possible angle.
• Dynamic Communication: Keeping a team connected and moving in sync.
• Structural Creativity: Using tools to turn a fluid idea into a physical reality.
By the end of the experience, campers will have a broader understanding of aviation and a profound realization: the way their minds naturally dream is exactly how the real world is built.
Who is Teaching?
Rian Rahsaan Howard is the founder of Build Your Dreaming Things and a lifelong aviation professional, engineer, inventor, and creative systems builder. Rian has spent his career mastering the complex geometries of aviation maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and aerospace quality management. He understands firsthand that navigating the skies—and solving advanced engineering problems—requires thinking far beyond flat surfaces and conventional boundaries.
As a father and founder, Rian created Build Your Dreaming Things to validate the expansive way children naturally see the world. His work focuses on helping young people anchor their fluid, boundless dreams to real skills, real careers, and real confidence. Through this framework, Rian helps children understand that they do not have to wait until they are grown to start becoming thinkers, builders, and dreamers with direction.
